Whats to come

I love hot air balloon competition. One of the options available to people in this sport is the use of radiosondes. Problem is all the ones out there are meant more for real weather research. They’re expensive, have tons of features balloonists dont care about, require seperate equipment to interpert the data. And inevitably you loose half of them anyway.
I have been working on developing a new radiosonde specifically for balloonists. They’re going to be substantially less expensive, able to launch with a normal size party balloon, best of all youll be able to have your crew launch the picosonde and youll recieve the data directly to your laptop in the basket without the use of the internet. Youll be able to choose to have the data for your self, share it with teammates or even make it public for anyone that has a receiver.
I hope to have them ready for real world use but I feel its far enough along now that I can start to put together a list of interseted parties. If you want to get updates as to when they’re availble just fill out the form below.
